Right on cue before she turned one, Lucy began to walk. She's been taking some steps here and there, cautiously, but didn't make the big move until we went to visit our friends the Bosonettos in NH. Jill has six kids, and I think the incentive of the others walking around pushed her over the edge. Though Lucy had been taking steps here and there, at Jill's she got up and took off!
Everyone (and I mean everyone) has said "Your life is going to change!" Everything she does changes my life, can this really be that different? :) I'm just happy for her, because she loves to be able to make choices about where she will go and what she will do. She's taken to pushing furniture around the house, moving her high chair from one end of the kitchen to the other, etc.
